Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective Date: October 1, 2026
At Bellgrip, we understand that plans change. Our goal is to keep cancellations,
rescheduling, deposits, materials, and refunds straightforward and fair to both
our customers and our team.
This policy applies unless different terms are stated in your estimate, proposal,
work order, or project agreement. It is also subject to any cancellation or refund
rights provided by applicable law.
Appointment Cancellations & Rescheduling
We ask customers to provide at least 24 hours’ notice when canceling
or rescheduling a scheduled service appointment.
Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject
to a cancellation or trip fee when Bellgrip has reserved technician time, dispatched
personnel, purchased materials, or otherwise incurred costs specifically for the appointment.
We understand that emergencies happen and will consider those situations reasonably.
Bellgrip Cancellations
If Bellgrip needs to reschedule an appointment because of weather, technician availability,
unexpected project conditions, safety concerns, material delays, or other circumstances,
we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and arrange another suitable time.
If Bellgrip cancels a project that cannot reasonably be rescheduled, any payment collected
for work that will not be performed will be refunded as appropriate.
Deposits
Some projects may require a deposit before scheduling, ordering materials, or beginning work.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, deposits may be applied toward:
- Reserved labor and scheduling
- Materials and equipment
- Special-order products
- Delivery or supplier charges
- Project preparation
- Other project-specific costs
If a project is canceled, any refund of the deposit will depend on the work already performed
and costs already reasonably incurred or committed for the project, subject to applicable law.
Bellgrip will not retain amounts that must legally be refunded.
Materials Purchased for Your Project
Once Bellgrip purchases materials or equipment specifically for your project, cancellation
may be subject to the supplier’s or manufacturer’s return policy.
Refunds may be reduced by applicable:
- Restocking fees
- Return shipping
- Delivery charges
- Non-refundable supplier charges
- Special-order or custom-material costs
Whenever practical, Bellgrip will attempt to return eligible unused materials and credit
the customer for amounts actually recovered.
Special-Order & Custom Materials
Custom-made, special-order, cut-to-size, tinted, configured, or otherwise project-specific
materials may not be returnable once ordered.
If these materials cannot reasonably be returned to the supplier, the customer may remain
responsible for their cost, subject to applicable law.
Any materials paid for by the customer and not returnable will be made available to the customer
when appropriate.
Customer-Supplied Products
Customers are responsible for returns, exchanges, warranties, missing components, defects,
and retailer claims involving products or materials they purchase directly.
If Bellgrip has already assembled, installed, configured, removed, or otherwise worked with
a customer-supplied product, the labor performed remains chargeable even if the product is
subsequently returned or replaced.
Additional labor required to remove, replace, reinstall, troubleshoot, or reconfigure a defective
or incompatible customer-supplied product may be billed separately.
Cancellation After Work Has Begun
A customer may request that a project stop after work has begun.
Subject to applicable law and contractual cancellation rights, the customer will generally
be responsible for:
- Labor already performed
- Materials already used
- Non-returnable materials or equipment
- Reasonable project-specific costs already incurred
- Other authorized charges incurred before cancellation
Bellgrip will provide an accounting of applicable charges when appropriate.
Completed Services
Payments for properly completed labor are generally not refundable simply because a customer
later changes their mind about the project.
If you believe there is a problem with Bellgrip’s workmanship, please contact us.
Qualifying workmanship concerns are handled under our
1-Year Workmanship Warranty rather than as a product return.
We ask that Bellgrip be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and correct any covered
workmanship issue.
Refunds
When a refund is approved, Bellgrip will generally issue it to the original payment method
whenever reasonably possible.
Processing times may vary depending on the bank, card issuer, payment processor,
or other payment provider.
Any refund required by applicable law will be handled within the legally required timeframe.
Estimates & Project Changes
An estimate represents the scope of work described at the time it is prepared.
If conditions discovered during the project require additional work, Bellgrip will communicate
the issue and obtain authorization before proceeding with work materially outside the agreed scope.
Declining additional work does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund for work already
properly completed.
Statutory Cancellation Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any cancellation rights provided to customers by applicable federal,
state, or local law.
Certain transactions entered into at a customer’s residence or outside Bellgrip’s regular place
of business may provide the customer with a statutory cancellation period.
When applicable, Bellgrip will provide the required cancellation notice and honor valid cancellations
made within the applicable period. These statutory rights apply regardless of any conflicting provision
in this policy.
